CROPS Organic Food Buying Service

Local organic fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, spices, and
herbs

Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus
When:
Every two weeks
How:
Applicants can sign up for full shares or
half shares. Full shares are meant to feed a family of three or
four who consumes a lot of fruits and vegetables. For smaller
families or families that do not consume a many fruits and
vegetables, half shares are also available. Members will pay for
their next share on the day of grocery pick-up.

Pricing
In order to make organic food more affordable to the community,
biweekly payments are based on a sliding scale. Reduced
individual pricing will be available. Pricing for half shares range
from $20-25. Pricing for full shares range from $40-48. A
one-time
membership fee of $10 will also be collected before a member
can receive their first share.

How to Qualify
The food buying club is open to all students
and employees
at Miami Dade College. Applicants are accepted on a first come,
first serve basis. Spaces are very limited,
with a certain number of slots reserved for students.
Once all the positions are filled, further
applicants will be placed on a waiting list until there is a
position available to them.

Fill it in electronically or print it out and fill it
in. Read the terms and sign the form. |

3. |
Return the application with your check for the cost
of your membership ($40 or $48 for full share, or
$20, $25 for half share) plus one time fee of $10 to Earth Ethics Institute. It can
be turned in by person or mail in one of the following

Once the application and deposit is received, you will receive an
email stating whether you have been registered or placed
on the waiting list. For registered applicants, the
email will include your application information and day
and location of pick-up. Delivery to you or your office
on the Wolfson Campus can be arranged for a $2 fee. |
