Earth Fellowships for Students

Students, Interested in becoming an
Earth Fellow?
The Earth Fellowship program offers students interested in environmental and ecological issues an opportunity to investigate and discuss Earth topics at a deeper level than a typical course might allow. Earth Fellows receive a $200 recognition award per semester and the satisfaction of participating in a learning community of peers and faculty interested in exploring viable options and ethics for our future on Earth.

The Earth Fellowship Program takes place at the Kendall and Wolfson Campuses.

The Kendall colloquium meets weekly on Tuesdays beginning January 11, 2005 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., and is facilitated by Professor Eric Lichtman (English), Joyce DiBenedetto-Colton, Dominic Brucato (Psychology), and Brad Stocker (ESL). Students interested in applying should contact Eric Lichtman, Earth Fellowship Coordinator at 305-237-2954 or eric.lichtman@mdc.edu.

The Wolfson colloquium meets weekly on Tuesdays or Wednesdays beginning on January 11th and is facilitated by Colleen Ahern-Hettich. EEI Core Faculty will also visit the colloquium. If you are interested in the Wolfson Campus Colloquium, please call Colleen Ahern-Hettich at 305-237-3796 or Janie Adams at 305-237-7119 or cahernhe@mdc.edu.
