OFFICE EQUIPMENT | Copiers

Copiers use more energy than any other type of office equipment and can cost over $100 per year to run in your office. To reduce running costs, it is vital to purchase wisely.

Set energy saving features
Set your copier to power down to low-power mode after 15 minutes of inactivity. The copier is reactivated when you next press the copy button. The copier can also switch itself off if it has been inactive for a preset period.

Energy saving tips for copiers

  • Use it less. For a small number of copies use your printer or fax machine.
  • Use duplexing features whenever possible.
  • Batch copy jobs.

OFFICE EQUIPMENT | Scanners

Scanners can be set to power down to 12 watts or less after 15 minutes of idle time. They undergo less wear and tear, and the light source may last significantly longer.
