Citrus Grove Elementary was the first school our group went to do a vermicomposting workshop with the kids. We had a great first connection with the kids and they were anxious to get their hands on the worms. We started by giving them a worm diagram and explaining it to them. Then, we got into action and started working on a bin. The kids really enjoyed this since it involved hands on activities like using the driller to make holes on the bin and making the worms bedding. We all got a great experience both the students and our group.
